These Terms govern your access to and use of the El Barrio website, event marketplace, checkout flows, and organiser tooling.

El Barrio is a marketplace platform. We help organisers and schools publish offerings and help users discover, book, and attend them.
Unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific product or transaction, El Barrio is not the organiser of the listed event or course and does not take over the organiser's legal obligations to stage, communicate, or deliver it.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and only use the platform in compliance with applicable law.
The platform supports attendee accounts, organiser and employee access, professional profiles, and guest event checkout flows that may result in a linked account record being created for operational purposes.
When you purchase through El Barrio, you buy digital access tied to a specific organiser or school offering. Pricing, availability, taxes, platform fees, and payment status are shown during the relevant checkout flow.
Payments are processed through Mollie, a third-party payment provider. El Barrio does not store full payment card details on its own servers. Organisers connect their Mollie account to El Barrio through Mollie Connect and authorise the scoped access needed to support payment flows.
Digital tickets, QR codes, event access codes, and course attendance tools are part of the operational service. Misuse of these tools, duplicate scans, or attempts to bypass entry controls are prohibited.
Refunds depend on the organiser's policy, applicable law, and the platform rules described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Certain operational restrictions apply, including that checked-in tickets are not eligible for platform-initiated refunds.
El Barrio provides listing, checkout, communication, and access infrastructure. Organisers remain responsible for event accuracy, venue rights, legal compliance, delivery, safety, and attendee-facing communications.
Dance schools remain responsible for their own class policies, waiver requirements, photo or video consent requirements, and local compliance obligations, even where El Barrio hosts the booking flow.
You remain responsible for information, images, descriptions, links, and other material you upload or publish through El Barrio.
Content complaints, legal notices, and platform safety concerns can be submitted through our contact page or legal email. We may remove, restrict, or review content and accounts where needed.
We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, suspend, or withdraw features for security, maintenance, or compliance reasons.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, liability is limited to foreseeable damages and remains tied to the role El Barrio actually played in the underlying issue.
These Terms are governed by Dutch law, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user's jurisdiction.
Under EU and Dutch consumer rules, the 14-day withdrawal right generally does not apply to dated leisure services such as event tickets booked for a specific date or period.
